I saw these cakes by the incredibly talented Pink Peach Cakes on another blog this week (I can't remember which!) and I fell in love. If I could have one of these I totally would. They are so gorgoeous!
I want to buy something for myself and I know what I want. I want a ring from designer Melissa Joy Manning but her rings are expensive. Very expensive. But I still want one. Her rings are unique, gorgeous and just...well...what I want!
This ring is my favorite. It is a triangle diamond slice. Yes folks...a real raw diamond. It is $1,775.
This is a raw teardrop diamond and I really like it too. It is $575.
And this ladies and gentleman is a chunk of raw diamond and it is at the bargain (hehe) price of $560.
When I discovered Dana Ray I was in awe of her talent. There is something so incredibly moving about her art.It reminds me of rainy days and spending time on the Blue Ridge Parkway...just...thinking. Her titles completely floor me. This is called "I'm sorry but you were holding me back".
This one is the first that grabbed my eye.Called "Constants of Motion"
This reminds me of my precious husband. It is called "Take Me Out Tonight" This reminds me of childhood, called "In The Light."My sisters and I used to play in the woods all of the time and we would walk over logs and have the best time.
Besides being a ridiculously romantic and adorable commercial the song is pretty great! The song in this commercial is by M. Ward and is called 'Here Comes the Sun Again,' from his 2005 album 'Transistor Radio.'
A little side distraction that I came up with. Can't you imagine a giant version of this framed in your house?! Any special requests? Happy to make some for anyone that ones it!
I am IN LOVE with this idea by Etsy seller Dean Penn & Paper. I think it is so creative and so interesting. I want to buy it for everyone I know that is getting married. In fact, I am pretty sure I might.
Basically you can customize these to fit your couple. What a GREAT idea and for only $18.50.
If money was growing on my trees I would buy this $135 dollar Bhalo shirt. I am not sure why but this shirt is so appealing to me. It looks comfortable and cool. And I am over sharing but these are my 2 best colors.
Adorable...incredible...I am totally in. Having been on crutches the last few weeks I can 100% appreciate the usefulness of a fanny pack. Remember those tacky things of the past! Well today I discovered a new, ruffly, creative, cool version from the designer Kinies. I am in love.
You might as well call this the bird blog. Myloyal reader and awesome cousin Graham sent me these salt and pepper shakers today and I just adore them! Aren't they cute :). They are from Z Gallerie and are $9.95.
Would you believe that I already own 2 sets of bird salt and pepper shakers! There are a few other things that I am loving at Z Gallerie this week including this amazing camera decoration!
Another movie trailer to share with everyone. This one looks super good...a little cliche but still great. It stars the adorable Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. Check it out!
Check out these adorable items from Anna Joyce Design. Of course I love them because of the birds but I also love the color choices. And you all know my pillow obsession. Check these out!
A little known fact about me. I love movie previews almost as much as I like the actual movies. When I go to the theater I get so excited for the previews. I don't like missing them and I always get excited. I have been posting a lot of trailers lately on the blog but there are some amazing new movies coming out. "Somewhere" is the latest movie from Sofia Coppola. I am a big fan of Sofia. One of my most favorite movies is her "Lost In Translation". This new movie stars Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning (sister to Dakota). Check it out:
I saw the preview for this movie and it made me laugh out loud so loud that I thought...I should probably post this to the blog. It looks so fun and I really love Katherine Heigl and Josh Dumel. Check out the trailer here:
Aren't these bookmarks just adorable! They are from Our Shop in the UK and are around 4.95 (in pounds). I am going to try and find someone in the US that sells these!
Carey Mulligan stole my heart in "An Education" and I have been following her ever since. Her style is impeccable. There is something about her that reminds me of Michelle Williams. Here are some of her latest styles courtesy of Just Jared Blog.
I am pretty sure the south is getting to me because I saw this trailer and got super excited. The new movie "Country Strong" opens in January but the trailer looks pretty great. I have always had a thing for movies about music. "Walk The Line" is one of my all time favorite movies and the the soundtrack is amazing. And I loved the movie "Crazy Heart" so much. This new movie features Tim McGraw, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leighton Miester nad new comer Garrett Hedlund. Check out the trailer here:
I keep seeing things that I want to buy for my potential new house! I love this cloth wreath. I think it is so clever and the colors are great. What do you think?
Business cards can say so much about a person or business. Typically if you are a business owner you have the ability to be more creative than at a major corporation. When I cam across these business cards from Beast Pieces my jaw dropped. I just adore the colors and the concept.
Aren't they so gorgeous! Are you brave enough to rock these?
I wanted to let my loyal Serendipity & Spark friends that I will be light on blogging for a few weeks. Yesterday I had to have another hip surgery.I am in North Carolina where I will be recovering for the next 5 weeks. The surgery went really well and hopefully soon I will be pain free.
This might be one of my most favorite posts on Serendipity & Spark....EVER! When I saw these on Etsy my jaw dropped. I fell completely in love with them and tried to think of a cake to put them on. What a genius idea fromKiki La Ru.
She offers free shipping and the prices start at $23. Seeing this makes me want to plan my wedding all over again. Wow!
