Olympic Love

I love the Olympics. Always have. I regularly get choked up when I see folks win and lose medals. And the moms....they just get to me. In the spirit of the Olympics I am sharing these adorable illustrations from Easywitching on Etsy.

Life has been very hectic for us. Last week we move back to our beloved North Carolina mountains! We are so excited to be here and adjusting to a new house. I am so happy for my sweet husband who just got a great job at Appalachian State (where we met!).

The simplicity of Urban Cartel's products makes me so happy.   The colors are pleasing and I can imagine them in an old farmhouse on a gorgeous reclaimed wood table....can't you see it!

My BFF Patrick has a rocking job at iVillage.com. He is a producer there and has recently been working on a new show, called "My Best Idea." I am absolutely a huge fan of this new show. It is fun, has great hosts and the ideas are.....tops!

Brilliant Ideas

I found these awesome journals at one of my favorite online boutique's, Shop Ruche. They are such a great idea, they give you interview questions and you fill the books out. Some of the questions are things like "Grandpa, how far away was your grade school and high school, and how did you get there" AND "Mom, who were some of your favorite relatives, and what made them special"
 

 

 This is brilliant. My husband and I did a book like this before we got married.
