turning wood into wall art

today i discovered jessica kestler, a modern art designer. her work is gorgeous! the first piece that caught my eye was this wood wall piece. it is unbelievably reasonable and can be purchased on her etsy shop: messicakes.

she uses different types of wood with different thickness to give a 3-D look.

she cleverly names her pieces. this is called "times square"...how fitting!


and this is called "bumper to bumper".

jessica is amazing. i am sure she is about to blow up in the art work and i can't wait to see more of her work.
